How to subscribe to the Product Compliance Forum

You may also manage your account with a web-based interface. Go to this link https://listserv.ieee.org/cgi-bin/wa and then click on "Subscriber's corner".

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE

To SUBSCRIBE to the EMC-PSTC mailing list, send an email message to and place the command:
SUB EMC-PSTC full_name
in the body of the message.



HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE

The only way to UNSUBSCRIBE, or remove your name, from a list is to send an email message to listserv@ieee.org and place the command:
SIGNOFF EMC-PSTC
in the body of the message.



HOW TO USE VACATION MODE

To temporarily stop receiving mail from the list without unsubscribing, send an email message to and place the command :
SET EMC-PSTC NOMAIL
in the body of the message.


To turn mail back on, send an email message to and place the command :
SET EMC-PSTC MAIL
in the body of the message.


HOW TO SET LISTSERV OPTIONS


The listserv understands many commands and has many options.  For a complete list of options send the command "INFO REFCARD" to and a complete list of commands will be emailed back to you. The most commonly used commands are listed below.  As with all commands to the listserv, send an email message to and include the commands in the body of your message, one command per line.




Alter your subscription options:

SET EMC-PSTC options where options are:


ACK/NOACK/MSGack Acknowledgements for postings
DIGests/INDex/NODIGests/NOINDex Ask for digests or message indexes rather than getting messages as they are posted
HTML/NOHTML Prefer/avoid HTML mail (especially HTML indexes)
Mail/NOMail Toggle receipt of mail - VACATION FEATURE - Use to temporarily turn off mail without unsubscribing
MIME/NOMIME Prefer/avoid MIME format (especially MIME digests)
REPro/NOREPro Copy of your own postings?

 

Change your e-mail address:

Change EMC-PSTC newaddr

 

Query your subscription options (use the SET command to change them):

Query EMC-PSTC

Tell your name to LISTSERV:

REGister full_name

Obtain a list of commands:
