EMC-PSTC, NEBS and TREG Archives

The EMC-PSTC, NEBS, and TREG archives are online! (NEBS stands for Network Equipment Building System and TREG stands for Telecom Regulatory E-mail Grapevine). They were formerly available on the old IEEE Online Communities site but when the IEEE changed to the new Online Communities application updating and searching became a problem. We have since added the archives for all three lists to a new archiving service. Click on a "PSES Product Compliance (EMC-PSTC) Email Forum" tab to read.

EMC-PSTC Mail Archives

We have added the EMC-PSTC archives to a new archiving service.  New messages to the list are added daily.  You can use the QR code to the right to take you there or use the search form below.

archiveQR

Searches span all archived messages in a particular mailing list. More complex searches are supported through advanced query syntax. Phrase search is supported. So are fancy boolean operators like + - AND OR NOT (). Finally, searches can be limited to a particular email field such as from, date, subject or message. For example, one can find all messages from April 2002. The sort order can be controlled by adding sort:newest or sort:oldest to your search string.

NEBS Mail Archives

We have added the NEBS archives to a new archiving service.  You can use the link to take you there or use the search form below.  This list is no longer active but contains interesting historical information.

The same search and sort criteria as described for the EMC-PSTC Mail Archive above applies.

TREG Mail Archives

We have added the TREG archives to a new archiving service.  You can use the link to take you there or use the search form below.  This list is no longer active but contains interesting historical information.

The same search and sort criteria as described for the EMC-PSTC Mail Archive above applies.

Membership to the IEEE Online Community (OC) is free. The OC is located here.  If you are already a member you can log on there or, if you are not already a member, please go there to join.

As of 15 November 2004, IEEE members who participate in the IEEE Online Communities will be able to use their IEEE Web accounts to login.  If you do not yet have an IEEE Web account, you can register for one for IEEE Members and at for non-members (click on the link to "All other valued customers").

This applies to both IEEE members and nonmembers since the login to the communities will require an IEEE Web Account.

The NEBS, TREG, and EMC-PSTC archives are also posted here under the CONTENT tab.  No updates have been made to the archive here since August 2010 when the old OC was replaced with the current version.  The archive service described above is much more powerful and the archives there are current.
